St Clare's Church

Arundel Avenue, Sefton Park, Liverpool

English Heritage have described it as "one of the most original and influential buildings of its date in the country".

The building of St Clare's started in May 1888 and was completed in June 1890. Its founders, Francis and James Reynolds. 

 

 

 

The church was designed by Leonard Stokes, godson to Francis Reynolds, and was widely considered to be his best work. It is Grade I listed .
